🌙 Do you sleep in a dark room?
☀️ And wake up in a bright room?

You can get better quality sleep if you do! 

Melatonin is your bodies sleep hormone. You body produces more of it when it is dark. And less when it is light and bright.

😴 So sleepin How much sleep do you get a night?
Do you wake up feeling refreshed?

September seems like the perfect time to focus on sleep!

😴So all through this month, I’ll be sharing tips for better SAVE THIS FOR YOUR NEXT TRIP✈️ Travel is back … and so are some of the not so fab things that come with it - like neck and back pain, or maybe feeling tight and tense…. And of course stress 😤 especially recently with all the cancellati 🏆 Chiropractor of the Year Finalist - Allied Health Awards. Craziness to even say that I think!

This one means a lot. I does not mean I think I’m in the top of Chiropractors in Australia. What it does mean is that I work damn hard. To be the 😤Feel like you get more unwell with high stress? Well it is highly probable!🤧

😫Prolonged stress will impact the way your immune system can function. This is because your stress hormone (cortisol) suppresses your white blood cells and lymphocyte f What 3️⃣ things are you thankful for today?

Thinking positive thoughts, and focusing on the positives can have a massive impact on your mental state!
Which in turn can impact your physical  state as well 💜

So what are you grateful for? I’ve 🧑‍💻Achey and sore at the top of your back and neck at the end of the day? 

👩🏼‍💻Think that the main culprit causing it is poor posture or sitting too long at work each day?

😫Have you considered stress as a possible cause as well?

🧐Ma 🏆 Small Business …. It’s a tough gig! Which is why I am super excited to be a finalist in the Australian Small Business Champion Awards for @bespokechiropracticmanning 🎉

There is no escaping that it’s been a rough few years for 🎉Absolutely!

There is more research needed (like most things 🙈), BUT there is a large amount of already done which suggests a link between the two! Especially in an aging population, the elderly.🎉

I still don’t know what’s next for me with running and fitness. But I do know I feel so much better when I move my body. Especially when I

From sporting injures🏌🏽
To helping with posture 🧑‍💻

From toddlers not sleeping 😴 
To people back travelling and different beds 🛌 and out of routine 

From people healing from past trauma ❤️
To people making bi 🙈Yep! I haven’t been doing much!

Partly because I have been in recovery mode 🏃🏻‍♀️ 
Partly because I’ve enjoyed sleep ins 🛌 
Partly because I am actually lazy& need a kick up the butt 🙈
Partly because the weather has been av 🧠 Your nervous system can only deal with so much input, without it impacting its function.

It gets input from physical things (like posture, sitting, poor sleep, exercise, movement)

It gets input from stress and emotions. Chasing deadlines, gettin

Last year I put my faith into someone. I wrote a chapter of a book. That was all set to be published. I was excited. It was an amazing group of co-authors with so many amazing stories to share. About motherhood. To support mothers. And mums to be. 
I It’s all about the little things.
Consistently.
That has a big impact.

I know I say it all the time. But we all need a reminder! And my clients this week in the clinic have all needed reminders to remember to do the little simple things.
